An extension of my illustration work, comics act as a means to combine my drawing skills with my writing abilities and as a way to expand my use of materials.
Monoprint on paper
An extension of themes I explored in Happy Thanksgiving (see below) about the relation between wealth and architecture. This comic is a work of satirical speculative fiction that takes place several years in the future in a city experiencing an increase in fires along-side an increase in gentrification.

An exploration of my relationship with my extended family through an analysis of their house.
More writing than drawing, this piece looks at my relationship to my family in a purposefully disjointed fashion.
This comic plays on the idea of body horror as something transformational and positive. Though under-explored, horror as a genre has the potential to act as interesting social commentary. In this piece, I took the concept of horror transformations and flipped them on their heads; making them powerful changes to the self as opposed to a reason for society to reject you.
A continuation on a series of illustrations that can be seen under the illustration tag [x]. The story follows a fae jester bonding with a beast over their mutual capture; can this bond lead to their mutual escape? Or will it bring their downfall?
An exploration of intimacy through faceless characters and the barriers we put up between each-other. An expansion of an earlier illustration that can be viewed on the illustration page [x].
Created in 2020 (left) and 2021 (right) these pieces explore my quarantine experience through time.
Time, looks at the inescapable news cycle and the overwhelming experience it brings.
Hair, on the other hand, explores the freeing experience of changing your appearance when you no longer have to deal with social pressures .
A children's book created to teach about nouns through the letter N and alliteration. I made all textures (specifically in the clothing) with photographs of my real clothing.
Created for a physically and digitally published zine [x].
A quick comic journal about adopting my wonderful dog.
